I loved Pedro as Joel, but absolutely hated Bella as Ellie. She doesn’t work well as Ellie at all, but people overrate her role because of LGBTQ and fan service. Same goes for the whole bill episode. The whole bill thing we got in the game was far better, but once again it’s overrated because of LGBTQ and fan service. He’s gay in the game. That doesn’t mean we need a whole damn love story just because he’s gay. The only love story that should happen is the one between Ellie and Joel. Them loving each other and becoming like father and daughter. We got a whole episode of a couple side characters. It’s just dumb.

I can’t imagine what it feels like for the original author of the character to watch a different version of his character that’s better than what he wrote. Apparently he considers rewriting his books to make Viserys more like the show. He enjoyed Paddy’s performance you can easily tell, as did I. I would love to see George’s expression when he watched the scenes with Viserys.

Idk why it's called the Smile "Entity" when it is clearly supposed to be a demon - more specifically, a demon from Christian(and more specifically yet, Catholic) traditions/teachings. Everything about the "entity" is just like demons(both Biblically and in Catholic demonology): Mostly invisible, wear down a chosen victim that is already mentally weak to the point they can possess them, then when possession has been achieved either cause "suicide" or more havoc for others.

In my opinion, the show fell short of the game. Here's why. -The show was way too short, and left out important in-game encounters -If Bill was going to get his own episode, I feel that other characters should get one as well. -Sam being deaf added absolutely no value to the show -Ellie didn't quite capture the spunkiness that Ellie had in the game The show is good, but honestly it's only a 6/10 for me, and playing the game is definitely the better experience to enjoy the story. I hope they can improve with the next season because Pt 2 hits WAY harder in terms of drama.

This season was criminally short. The Last of Us part 1 needed to be broken into 2 seasons at the least.

The show is so much better imo, the lines and acting is more believable and characters more likable.

Blair was the Thing, ambushed Childs and assimilated him, went into the basement where the generator is, and Childs-Thing went out to hide. Seems plausible.

This is a theory, why does the title make it sound like its a real deal.

I love that they never changed Cyclops' intro. He's the only member of the team who isn't in uniform, and his powers are completely out of control, almost like he is the best example of the dangers (both being _in_ danger and _a_ danger) of being a mutant.

X-Men 97 is garbage compared to the original

97 Intro opening theme isn't better than the 93 version. I agree with one of the comments the introduction of the characters of throwing Jean Grey after Cyclops with the day and night just throws it off not a smooth transition. The 97 version of Morph looks lazy on the animators part, should've just stuck with his Jeff Hornacek look.

Why do I never see anyone mention the fact that the bottle is a clue and what's in it doesn't matter at all? Childs was one of the most outspoken in his mistrust the entire film to the point of wanting to leave MacReady outside earlier on and then just casually and carelessly accepts a drink from MacReady? He wouldn't necessarily attack because he wouldn't need to. In fact he would want to assimilate MacReady so he wouldn't necessarily bother to attack him right away. MacReady's easy prey at that point but Childs can sit and ask him more questions for a while and learn more about the planet. The earing doesn't necessarily mean anything one way or the other (The Thing could have put it in). The breath can be seen coming from the thing earlier in the film so that means nothing. And regardless of the bottle's contents, it seems to me that Childs would be much more hesitant to accept the drink which could be infected. So maybe MacReady, smart as he clearly his and knowing Childs as well as he does even just from last last few hours, tests him by handing him the bottle. they all know at that point that every particle of the Thing is alive. It doesn't matter whether or not we have a scene of MacReady relaying the information about not sharing food and drink. They know, and Childs is very suspicious to begin with. But apparently not so much in this final scene. And the questions he's asking and the way he's asking them certainly help with that idea. That's the beginning and ending of my two cents. Peace to ya! :)
